As political activities to select Nigeria’s next set of leaders gather momentum and the nations celebration of Democracy Day, the process of recruitment of such leaders has been done the wrong way. That is the view of Catholic Bishop of Sokoto Diocese Dr. Mathew Kukah. He told journalist that given the indices used to measure success in governance the result could not have been different. Bishop Kukah also said the debate over the validity of the 1999 constitution is simply begging the issues.
