Vehicular movement on Benin-Auchi road around the Okhuo-Obagie axis of the road came to a standstill for several hours this Thursday.
ROLL VCR………../ Investigations, revealed that the gridlock was occasioned by a truck conveying petroleum product which fell and subsequently blocked a portion of the road.
It was further gathered that the inpatient on the part of some motorists compounded the traffic situation on the axis of the Benin-Auchi road which led to the total blockade of the only available space.
Some of the stranded motorists and travelers who declined camera interview told our correspondent Benedict Okate that the regular road crashes on the Benin-Auchi road are hinged on the worsening condition of the road noting that the failure on the part of the federal government to complete the idealization work is another major impediment considering the growing volume of vehicular traffic on the road on daily basis.
